I am a director, actor, storyteller, producer, teacher, coach and playwright.

I use whatever aspect of storytelling and the theatre arts best serves the mission of the moment.

I believe that art is a catalyst for personal and community transformation, and as an artist I have a sacred duty to use my gifts in a way that gives back to the world.

The journey isn’t so much about becoming anything. It’s about unbecoming everything that isn’t really you.

What People Are Saying About Genevieve

We have offered several Business Storytelling workshops to our associates at Timberland. Whether it’s a general session, or a customized workshop for a specific group, Genevieve’s facilitation is top notch and best in class. She is a subject matter expert that teaches participants how to infuse emotion and drama into any otherwise monotonous business presentation. Her style allows learners to tap into their creativity, draw from personal experiences, and create authentic connections with their audiences.
— Jennifer S., Timberland
Yesterday’s performance was wonderful beyond expectation, simply mesmerizing. The haunting music played on those exotic instruments, the dramatic and evocative storytelling (folktales of the past but only too timely!), the rich costuming and, Genevieve, the very way you move, and then that special ability to engage your audience…the effect was powerful and riveting.
— Fitchburg State University ALFA Program
Aichele’s production of “The Crucible” heightens its small-town tension by staging it in a close round. We audience members… look across the stage and uncertainly meet each other’s eyes – a provocatively uncomfortable way to start this show. It’s an immediacy that carries through in the staging, which is beautifully wrought on a near-bare set…Aichele production is especially successful in how recognizably it draws its characters – they are not just 300-year old characters in an allegory, but people we have all known.
— Portland Phenix (The Crucible)
I can say without qualification that my studies with Genevieve gave me skills and confidence which I use directly in my corporate training and presentations… my ability to speak with confidence and clarity was greatly enhanced. Genevieve has a unique ability to bring out the best in her students…She knows how to get a diverse group of adults to coalesce as a team, and to challenge one another to produce the best possible presentation. Further, she is able to get the group to do this in a mutually supportive fashion, with an emphasis on cooperation. In short, not only is she an outstanding one-on-one personal coach, she is a tremendous group leader.

Genevieve Aichele as Janine and Malikah McHerrin-Cobb as Zoe are perfect. Everything about the two women is right: facial gesture, movement and the body language that signals their relationship and individual personalities. Both are superb at the micro signal, a hardening of the face, a lift of a brow, or the intonation in a line’s delivery. Both performances are a delight to watch….“The Niceties” will have you resist one figure, then the other, then both, and, above all, it will make you question. For an intense, challenging play done beautifully, this one is your ticket.
— The Edge (The Niceties)
Aichele has put together a production that boils with intensity, bubbles with humor, and soars with amazing music. It’s among the finest of the many fine plays to which she’s lent her remarkable artistry.
— The Wire (Amadeus)
In Aichele’s excellent hands, Madame Arcati is brisk, forthright, jauntily competent, and eminently charming...And her séance manner is a treat: In full dark, her voice – calling the spirits, singing, placating a spirit child with a cold – is rich, surprising, and completely endearing. All in all, Aichele’s Arcati is absolutely a delight.
— Portland Phenix (Blithe Spirit)
Your ability to bring us all to the surface with our hopes, dreams and passions touched my very heart and inspired me to share in each cause presented. What we have all learned in your class will ripple out into our individual causes and make us much more successful because of it. Thank you so much for sharing your vast knowledge and competence with us in such a meaningful way.

I have had the pleasure of experiencing several tarot readings from Genevieve over the years. What’s amazing is not only how accurate, but how thought provoking her readings can be. She seems to understand what you’re asking, when you may not even know yourself. When another speaks for you, it’s important to listen!
— Tarot Client
We have used Genevieve and her team of acting teachers numerous times for programs at our all company retreats. They have helped us get creative juices flowing as well as build presentation and customer service skills. Generally staff has come away with a better sense of how they are being perceived and skills to ground and center themselves. Program designs are well customized and the NHTP team works hard to make sure they are meshing well with our culture and needs.

It’s my pleasure to work with you, you give me a lot of great tips and I have learned a lot from you.
— Wendy Wang, Associate Director, Cambridge Network, Waltham MA
Your skill at integrating meditation techniques and other modalities by relating them for public speaking was crucial for my understanding. I feel like anyone I know in business or the personal growth world needs to work with you. You made me feel at ease and comfortable really quickly and that helped the coaching session dive deep without much stress.
